Mike & Ophelia Lazaridis Quantum-Nano Centre Open House

On Sept. 29, you are invited to explore the next big thing at the University of Waterloo — the new Mike & Ophelia Lazaridis Quantum-Nano Centre. This state-of-the-art facility at the heart of campus is home to the Institute for Quantum Computing and the Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology — two world-class institutes at the frontier of research and innovation. During the day-long Community Open House, you can tour the cutting-edge laboratories, meet the scientists and learn about the incredible quantum devices and nanotechnologies being pioneered in Waterloo. A series of public lectures by renowned guest speakers will explore the joys and wonders of science, and an interactive Discovery Zone will allow hands-on scientific exploration.
